I am writing to you from the beautiful island of Bali—where flowers are everywhere and days begin with a sunrise over mountainous volcanoes and terraced rice fields. My friends and I are enjoying cool ocean breezes, delicious food, amazing snorkeling, forest hikes with monkeys, Balinese massage and yoga, and of course, the pleasure of great company with the friendliest, most welcoming people in the world.
I am so lucky!
I also feel lucky to report that we are moving closer to our initial fundraising goal of $3,800. In less than one month, we’ve received donations totaling $2,760. We have just over $1,000 left to cover our start-up costs and the entire winter rental of the Munson Library!
Thank you! Thank you!

The Yoga of Dreams: A Dream Workshop with Tzivia Gover
Sunday, September 29th, 2–4 PM, Munson Library
This workshop will draw on yogic philosophy and mindfulness practices to engage with our subconscious minds, especially our nighttime dreams, for insight, healing, and to help us move through emotional blocks and connect with the joy and bliss at the center of our beings.
Activities include guided meditations, breathing exercises, and journal prompts that align with yogic philosophy. Information on dream recall and other skills for becoming an active dreamer will be shared. Note that this is not an asana workshop, so we will not be practicing yoga poses.
All are welcome, whether you practice yoga or not, and whether you remember your dreams or not. No pre-registration is required. Just come and bring a friend!
Tzivia Gover is a certified dreamwork professional, a member of the International Association for the Study of Dreams, and has served as the education director for the Institute for Dream Studies. She uses dreamwork to help people realize their full potential, access creativity, and promote physical, emotional, and spiritual health and development. Tzivia is the author of several books about sleep, dreams, and waking up to your best self, including Joy in Every Moment and Dreaming on the Page: Tap Into Your Midnight Mind to Supercharge Your Writing.
Visit Tzivia's website here.
Our events are free and open to all. We want the benefits of dreaming available regardless of one's financial status. Donations are appreciated, but not expected.
Yoga at Andrew’s Greenhouse (June through October)
Andy and Jacqui Cowles have made this beautiful space available to us since 2016! There is no better place to practice yoga. Where else can you overlook a pond, meadow, forest, and mountains? Where else can you watch the swoop of swallows, notice the mist burning off, and the advancing of rain? Thank you, Jacqui and Andy for mowing a growing space around the pond for us. Thank you for filling a greenhouse to the brim with flowers for rainy days.
We’ll be outside at Andrew’s through October. (Yes, it will get chilly!) Then, we’ll practice together in the beautiful Munson Library just up the street.
Cancellations are posted on Facebook and on the website calendar by 7 AM. Otherwise, class is ON!
