It’s been quite some time since I’ve let an entire month go by without a newsletter, and it’s the first time in three years I’ve been in New England for July! Most of June was consumed by travel: to Florida for a family reunion to celebrate Paul’s Aunt Yvonne’s 100th Birthday and then out to Oregon for my son’s wedding. Major takeaways:
sing and dance at every opportunity (Yvonne was a founding member of the Miami Heat’s Golden Oldies Dance Team at age 73 and danced for 9 seasons),
smile and wave when someone points a camera at you (see below), and
laugh and play (She’s been playing cards for close to 100 years).
So much to celebrate.
Speaking of celebrations… We had a good one on June 6th! Over 45 people attended our Potluck Celebration to share a meal, meet our new board members, and raffle off 12 base mats for outdoor yoga. Thanks to Kathy Glime and her friend at Four Acres Living and to Linda Prothers and Karen Tunnell who turned donated Alpaca feed bags into beautiful base mats and tote bags. We even made it onto the farm’s Instagram page. Check it out.
Some of you have asked about more base mats. We have additional feed bags ready to be sewn together, but we need light weight blankets or fleece or flannel sheets to top them off. Stay tuned.

How Everyday Wellbeing Works
There is no charge for any of our offerings. All of our teachers and providers donate their services, time, and expertise and receive only the money deposited into the donation box (or sent to their personal Venmo). We gratefully accept this expression of appreciation, AND donations are never expected.
It is important and central to the mission of Everyday Wellbeing that all events are free and open. Everyone is welcome regardless of their ability to donate.
Support Our Work
If you have the means, a donation to Everyday Wellbeing moves us toward a vision of community-supported wellness by invigorating our mission to make vibrant health accessible to all by offering free, donation-based classes, workshops, and events.
Every donation helps empower people to live their healthiest lives. Every dollar is tax-deductible and allows us to offer a wider variety of programming to reach more people.
We acknowledge your donations by email. If you don’t receive a heartfelt thank you and a receipt (for tax purposes), please check your junk folder for an email from info@everydaywellbeing.org. Thank you!
