Happy March Yoga Outsiders!
Massachusetts State Primary Election Day is Tuesday, March 5th. Because the Munson Hall is used for voting, there will be no yoga that day. In addition, due to the schedule for setting up and cleaning up. Monday’s evening class (March 4th at 5:30 PM) and Wednesday’s morning class (March 6th at 8 AM) will also be cancelled. You can get up to the minute changes to our schedule on our calendar.

Beginning Wednesday, March 13th, Kim’s class will now begin at 8 AM like all the other mornings (just when you got used to coming earlier, I know!)
Some of you requested more vigorous classes, some wanted a later start in the evenings to make it easier to attend after work, some want more instruction in meditation and pranayama, some want a blend of yoga and pilates, and many of you are enjoying gentler classes. While it is impossible to be all things to all people, we love hearing from you! Keep your comments coming!
As always, our classes are offered freely to all. No registration required. Donations are gratefully accepted, but not expected. We want the benefits of community practice available to all.

Meet at the base of the mountain at 11:30! Dress for the weather. Bring a yoga mat or blanket and plenty of water. This is a donation-based event and open to the public.
Join Tiffany every Monday night for a fun-filled dance fusion class with contemporary music from mama Africa and the Caribbean.
During March we will begin learning choreography for our show in June. Students are not required to perform but are gently encouraged. As of April 1st, this class will no longer be a drop in class.
Cost: $12/class. Buy a class card for $50 with a retail value of $60.

Begins March 7th
In studio at Sanctuary in Northampton (Drop-ins Welcome)
This 6-week series is designed for LGBTQIA+ identified students who are looking to connect with their bodies and their breath in a supportive, community oriented environment. This space aims to create a container where queer and trans community members can cultivate joy, a deeper relationship with their bodies, and a sense of connectedness to their yoga practice. Each class will feature time for community and connection and an alignment-focused physical asana practice, ending with gentle restorative movement. All bodies, sizes, and abilities are welcome and celebrated.
Yoga instructor Sebastian Merrill (he/him) and Em Ike (they/them), OTR/L, pelvic floor therapist, will guide participants through gentle yoga sequences and breathwork specifically curated to support the unique needs of birthing bodies at all stages, with pelvic floor education and guidance interwoven into our practice to help you deepen your understanding of your own pelvic health. Learn techniques to enhance your body’s resilience, promote relaxation, and cultivate a deep connection with your pelvic floor.
Whether you’re thinking about carrying a baby, are currently pregnant or gestating, or have given birth, this workshop will help you explore your own connection with your pelvic floor, fostering strength, flexibility, and mindfulness.
