Potluck Celebration Tomorrow
Join us at Andrew's Greenhouse right after Ilana's class 9-10:30 AM
This is a quick reminder that we will gather tomorrow, Saturday August 17th immediately after Ilana’s class to celebrate the launch of Everyday Wellbeing, our newly formed nonprofit public charity with 501(c)(3) status.
Bring a dish to share, or just bring yourself! For the sake of the environment, consider bringing your own plate, cup, utensils, and napkin so we can limit single use trash. Come for yoga and stay for the celebration or come at 9 AM for food and community. We’ll be collecting donations toward our mission of making vibrant good health accessible to all by offering free, donation-based classes, workshops, and events.
We’ll be answering your questions about yoga, aging gracefully, and positive health practices. You can submit your anonymous questions here, and we’ll have pen and paper on site, or you can ask directly in an open-ended panel discussion.
We’ll also sell raffle tickets for two waterproof yoga bags (made from recycled chicken feed bags). You can buy three tickets for $10 and help us reach our initial fund-raising goal of $3500 to cover our start-up costs and a winter’s worth of Munson Library rental.
And, of course, there will be food and conversation to share among our growing community. Your support of Yoga Outside and Everyday Wellbeing means a lot to everyone involved. We feel strongly that financial status should not be a barrier to health enhancing practices.
In addition to yoga, we hope to offer Qigong, TaiChi, Nature Walks, Health Coaching, Book Study, Writing Groups, and more. Movement and social connection are at the heart of good health. Our offerings will ALWAYS remain free and donation-based so that everyone has access to the education and support they need to enhance resilience and maintain vital good health.
Donations to Everyday Wellbeing are entirely tax-deductible. Our federal Tax I.D. Number is: 99-3587824. We will happily acknowledge your donation for your records.
You are the heart of our community.
We love hearing from you!
Yoga at Andrew’s Greenhouse
Andy and Jacqui Cowles have made this beautfiul space available to us since 2016! Quite simply, there is no better place to practice yoga. Where else can you overlook a pond, meadow, forest and mountains? Where else can you watch the swoop of swallows, notice the mist burning off and the advancing of rain? Thank you, Jacqui and Andy for mowing a growing space around the pond for us. Thank you for filling a greenhouse to the brim with flowers for rainy days.
Please remember to park ONLY along the back border of the parking lot (overlooking the field) and use the main entrance and exit by the Greenhouse shop. The driveway and parking on the other side of the farmhouse (near the solar panel) is reserved for tenants and Greenhouse employees only.
Also, remember that cancellations (only for thunder and lightning) will be posted on Facebook and on the website calendar by 7 AM. Otherwise, class is ON!
Regular weekly teachers do travel, but always arrange for a substitute teacher you’ll love. Find the scheduled teacher of the day by accessing the calendar below. You can always get more information and teacher bios at our website (www.yogaoutside.today).
Thank you for being a part of Yoga Outside!
